After a day at the Temples of Angkor most people like to sit and rest their weary legs and have a cold drink whilst remembering the hi-lights of the day, what better place to do just that than in our bar. Set amid our gardens you will find our watering hole fully stocked and ready to serve. Soft drinks, fruit juices and shakes, icy cold beers, cocktails and fine wines (by the glass/bottle) are all there to help sate your thirst. Tea and coffee are free to guests. Drinks can also be served on the balconies as you watch the sun slowly set to the west, so go on, have a drink, you’ve deserved it!

HISTORY OF ANGKOR
ANGKOR lilterally means 'Capital City' or 'Holy City'. 'Khmer' refers to the dominant ethnic group in modern and  ancient cambodia. In it's modern usage, 'Angkor' has come to refer to the capital city of the Khmer empire that existed  in the area of cambodia between the 9th and 12 th ceturies AD, as well as t o the empire itself. The temple ruins in the area of Siem Reap are the remnants of the Angkorian capitals, and represent the pinnacle of the ancient Khmer architecture, art and civilization.
